Ultra-Fin is a hydronic radiant floor heating system designed specifically for wood frame housing. While other types of radiant floor systems exist for similar use, Ultra-Fin presents important advances in cost effectiveness and efficiency.

How Ultra-Fin works

The Ultra-Fin System uses 1/2" (5/8" O.D.) tubing to circulate hot water throughout the under floor joist spaces, where heat from tubing is conducted to attached aluminum fins.
The fins transfer the heat and warm the air in the joist spaces, creating hot air convection. The heated air warms the floor uniformly, and the floor radiates gentle heat throughout the living space above.

Ultra-Fin works great with all floor coverings

One of Ultra-Fin's greatest advantages is that it is compatible with all types of floor coverings. Some radiant heat systems are not compatible with certain floorings, notable hardwood, while Ultra-Fin works with hardwood floors as well as it does with carpet, tile, slate, and virtually and other flooring you can imagine. Ultra-Fin is also effective in all types of climates, including regions with extreme winters and intense cold.
